This event
is held every 2nd Tuesday of the month during summer and has
a great turnout, over 600 cars turned up for the November 08
night . Sarts at 6pm and is normally all over by 9pm, see you
there.

August 1st Winter Car Show
Spectacular
This event
is being held at Brand Junction Factory Outlet, 2 Janefield
Drive, Bundoora. Undercover parking for 320 cars starts 10am
and is a family orientated event with Plenty of activities for
the kids, live entertainment, and plenty of shops.
Entry is by Gold Coin donation

6 Hour Regularity Event Phillip Island
Members
of the Falcon Cobra Club & Ford Coupe Club are taking part
in this
Inter club event being held at Phillip Island Race Track. Members
are welcome to
come along and assist the two teams during the running of the
event. If you wish to

The clubs
AGM will be held in the Sports bar of the Notting Hill Hotel,
Ferntree Gully Rd, Notting Hill commencing at 6:30pm. All members
are encouraged to attend this meeting and an election for the
2010 / 2011 committee will be held.

August 21st Nuts & Bolts
Day Palace Automotive
This event
is a combined Cobra Club & Ford Coupe Club event, Taz and
his wife Sophie are member’s of both clubs and own Palace
Automotive, Corr street, Moorabbin. Palace specialise in repair
& restoration of Ford Coupes and have offered to run this
Day at their workshop to show us the work they do and how we
can better maintain and car For our cars. There will be a sausage
sizzle for lunch and plenty of chat time.

August 22nd Breakfast in
the Hills
Meet at
the Stamford Hotel 8:45am depart 9am and drive up Wellington
Road to the
Paradise Valley Hotel, Clemantis. Members who wish too can meet
us at the venue
from 9:30am. This is a popular social event and a good way to
spend a Sunday morning. Afterwards enjoy a short cruise in the
surrounding area and Dandenong Ranges.

August 29th Mad Max 1 Film
Site’s Tour
They’re
about to start filming Mad Max 4 so let’s go back to where
it all started in the late 70’s. Filming of Mad Max 1 was
done in and around Melbourne in area’s such as Spotswood,
Laverton, Werribee and Little River. On this tour we will visit
some of the filming locations and re-live one of the greatest
Aussie car movies ever made. We will visit the “Halls of
Justice”, the road where they crashed through the caravan,
the road where Max caught up with the bikies, the bridge where
Max crashed into the bikies plus more. We will meet at 10am
at the Shell Westbound Westgate (be-aware of changed entry if
travelling from eastern suburbs you must take Melbourne Airport
/ Todd Road exit after exiting the Domain Tunnel).
